Paper introduction for "The Scarlet Ibis"?

Hi everyone!! I need some smart thinking. It's a college paper. My teacher asked us about an event that has happened or a story we've read that has made impact on our lives..such as learning a moral lesson. I chose the Scarlet Ibis..which was the best and saddest story I have read in highschool..it first came to mind for this paper..anyways do yall have any suggestions for the introduction? I would love to hear from everyone else!! I like good choices of words :) Thanks!!
